Picture this: a kid born with a chronic genetic illness, in + out of hospitals from ages 1 to 16. That was me! ๐ฎ๐จโจYet - despite the health battles, I fell in love with being active (As they say, it’s not happening to you, yet FOR YOU)
I overcome the many ailments connected to my illness through Self care + fitness! My base was started by my Loved ones, Mentors, + Coaches who showed me how to truly care for myself. How nourishing, moving, + resting our bodies isn’t just good for us – it’s FOUNDATIONAL for us! 20 years later, + I’m still finding ways to honor my #purpose !

Absolute bliss, during absolute abundance, with my Phenomenal Phoenixโฃ๏ธ There’s truly nothing like going on vacation with your toddler… just Mom + Phoe ๐ฅฐ๐๐ฎ๐จ๐ฅน๐๐คฃ exhausting yes, + yet I’m here for it!!
The amount of emotions we both were moving through (it’s very interesting watching him really grow into himself, a whole being in a not so little little physical- if you’ve been following me a while, you know I also see raising a child as a social experiment ๐ค๐๐…
Anyways, this adventure was different than ALL the others because this one we embraced the Art of Relaxing ๐ง๐ฝโ๏ธโจ That’s right Beloveds, I (as much as I could) sat my ass down, enjoyed the views, fresh air, + joy of my sonshine! We even got in a kayaking lesson ๐๐ฝ teaching him the ebb + flow ๐
Oh, Beloveds! What do you think kayaking with my boy did for my soul during this lions gate/ approaching the peak of abundance ๐ฎ๐จ๐๐ฝโจ I’m manifesting from a state of abundance!!! My WHOLE heart is FULL + I’m preparing to P.O.U.R.!

Started this one back in like March ๐ค (I’m sure you’ve seen it in my stories, as a few have commented ๐๐ซถ๐พโจ) when a series of emotions started rolling in HEAVY ๐๐ฎ๐จ
Putting those heavy feelings on the canvas left me so depleted, I just left it be…

His love… obsession… for paint… ๐ฎ๐จ
His focus (you’ve seen it!) how lost he gets into the colors. The joy that beams on his face as he’s knuckles deep into the yellow, blue, green swirls forming new colors, shapes, expressions with absolutely zero attachment to his end result! ๐ป๐ถ๐ฝ๐
This kid is magical ๐โจ๐
If you know/ have been following for a while you’re aware I’m a HUGE advocate for Therapy of ALL forms!
So back in January, when ALL the heavy feels of life started to finally settle from my many much needed quick life transitions…
I dedicated time for Art Therapy
I mean, I was programming it for whole communities…
so why wouldn’t I continue to walk the talk!
+ paint has always been the impossible tool for me… it’s always given me the feel of permanence (like… this is it!)
+ Yet also, when you’re a creative + you’ve connected so much to how you create, ๐ค there seems to be a point where creating in that realm/medium feels so impossible due to emotions, attachments to situations, etc. so I really needed to get out of my own way, out of my head, + be as present as my toddler when he’s creating ๐ถ๐ฝ๐โจ
I had a long time follower comment on a post with “God knew you needed your boy!” ๐ฎ๐จโจ๐๐ฝ gotta be honest, whether it was our soul contract + picking each other in this life, and/or the Higher Powers continuing to look out for your girl! I know this boy is definitely teaching me what life is all about!
Months later + we have a beautiful flow of creativity working together! Painting + vibing with my toddler!
+ I’m definitely better emotionally, mentally, + physically for it ALL! ๐
This week has been intense + heavy with all happening with Mother Nature!
So we went to creating to keep our minds focused on that what we could actually control + man, paint is actually a pretty dope medium! ๐๐

Ending Winter Aquatics Training with joy ๐ฆ๐๐ฅฐ
He’s been diligently training since 6 mos 2-3 times a week, with a minimal transition from Phoenix to NYC, + man this kid is the baby otter I knew he’d be ๐ฆฆ
Keeping it fun while building up his skills, loves + interests. Water sign ๐ Water baby ๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ฝโ๏ธ๐ฑ๐
* Ranger training has been an amazing way to connect something my son loves, the new Buzz Lightyear movie with developmental life skills, lessons, + FUN has made for an incredible experience. When I say “come on Ranger you got this” the level of reassurance + confidence that shows up is so remarkable to witness/observe in such a little person; hell I have hard harder times with training adults ๐คท๐ฝโ๏ธ

Being a business owner has always seemed like the no brainer. Mainly bc my Uncle (more like my Pops) was one. We spent so much time together.
I learned so much, mainly on quality of life, from him. He was able to do, be, + give so much to our family… while also prioritizing his grind + overall well-being / enjoyment of life!
From this connection, building a business with my famigila , for my famigila has been a life goal/wish/ dream of mine. For all the reasons I got from my Unc, + also to create generational wealth for my kid(s) vs continuing to add to the rat race of holding a job/ chasing a salary… being a part of a failing system. Every punch I have taken, especially over the past 3 years (+ oh Covid beat me down), has been for this!
I have shared so much of me, with the vision of this bigger picture, + now a new BIGGER picture is in the works to be shared!

AM meditation has been a staple in my life for many lives, as it helps to turn the volume down to the noise + stress inside. Yet, lately most of it has calmed (with a downward spiral here + there ๐คท๐ฝโ๏ธ).
So, I’m the Mom that wakes (most) mornings before him so I can have my coffee, take a breathe + figure out what the day requires of me, + then I go into my meditation + stretch.
Since moving into our space, my little Diddy joins me when he gets up + now the time has transitioned into embracing a quite + still moment with my boy ๐๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฑ๐ง๐ฝโ๏ธ๐ฟ

Since taking on stairs at 9 months, Phoenix has been disgusted with climbing the stairs with his knees. 2 weeks in I had to slow him down as he would literally try and just walk up the stairs right to left… he quickly realized he had some work to do… and man does this kid work! His determination + focus are intense once he sets a goal.
Goal accomplished!
He can climb up and down the stairs without his knees touching…
+ boy the satisfaction that comes across his face when he accomplishes what he set out.
For me, it’s not even that he accomplished his goal, it’s the happiness he received knowing he got this!

The gym has always been a sanctuary for me… hell I was the kid after YMCA ball always sneaking into the weight room working on my fitness. So to say I’m blessed for the opportunity to design, program and coordinate these spaces with and for #TheXCommunities is an understatement!!
